FROM THE STREET, FOR THE STREET
Founder | Brand Architect | Product Design | Creative
I launched ICON and built it into a dominant force in the street motorcycle gear market within three years. As designer and brand director, I reshaped the category through bold product design and distinctive storytelling, turning my sportbike vision into a defining voice in modern motorcycle culture. For more than two decades I led product creation, brand strategy, and collaborations that helped establish ICON as one of the most influential brands in motorcycle gear.
IDENTIFYING THE OPPORTUNITY
Subline of witty
Street motorcycle gear in the late 1990s was dominated by race replica aesthetics and conservative design. I saw an opportunity to create something different. ICON was built for the emerging sportbike culture that valued attitude, individuality, and aggressive riding as much as pure performance
SHAPING THE BRAND IDENTITY
Subline of witty
ICON was designed to speak directly to riders who saw motorcycles as rebellion and self-expression. The brand blended aggressive graphics, cinematic photography, and unapologetic storytelling to create a voice that felt authentic to street riders rather than racetrack tradition.
BUILDING THE PRODUCT SYSTEM
Subline of witty
From the beginning I built ICON as a complete equipment system spanning helmets, jackets, gloves, boots, armor, luggage, and riding apparel. Each category followed the same design philosophy while expanding the brand’s presence across the entire rider experience.
DEFINING THE DESIGN LANGUAGE
Subline of witty
Years of riding sportbikes shaped the way I approached product design. Protection, mobility, and durability remained fundamental, but ICON pushed visual boundaries through bold graphics, aggressive silhouettes, and distinctive materials that reflected the energy of modern street riding.
THE RESULT

ICON quickly grew from a new idea into one of the most influential brands in street motorcycle gear. Product design, photography, and storytelling moved together under one creative direction, shaping a brand that helped define modern sportbike culture.
